Thank you for booking Papa Bear Carvings for your upcoming
event.
Following are suggestions and information which can help in a successful event: • I will carve
under a 10x10 tent and will rope off a safety area around the tent that I will provide. • Electricity is needed;
I will bring an extension cord. • If an area can be provided close to park a pickup and trailer it would be appreciated. • Benches or a sitting area for the public close to the carving area, shade is a bonus. • If your organization
is providing the logs generally logs cut within the last 6 months (a longer time period is okay if the log is not cracking),
various sizes from 12 to 20 inches in diameter in 3 to 5 foot lengths, and different types of wood works well. •
If the carvings are going to be auctioned off please provide the public and myself when and where the auction will take place.
Choosing a time(s) with large crowds such as demolition derby, concerts or other main events works well. A well advertised
auction will benefit not only your fair attendence but your proceeds. Your event will retain 100% of all auction money. • It would be appreciated if payment is completed prior to completion of the last carving session.
Again
thank you and we look forward to your successful event or fair!
